Automobili Pininfarina has expanded its presence in Asia with the introduction of two new models for Japanese clients: the B95 hyper Barchetta and the exclusive Battista Cinquantacinque hyper GT.
Partnering with luxury expert Sky Group as its retail partner in Tokyo, Japan, the pure-electric hypercar manufacturer aims to provide a personalized client experience, ensuring that each vehicle leaving its atelier in Cambiano, Italy, is a unique expression of its owner’s personality.
Each Battista model is powered by four independent electric motors and a 120kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering 1,900hp and 2,340Nm of torque, for a driving range of up to 476km.
The Battista Cinquantacinque, inspired by the iconic 1955 Lancia Florida styled by Carrozzeria Pininfarina, has a Blu Savoia Gloss finish that pays homage to its classic predecessor. Its interior has bespoke Mahagoni upholstery for a luxury feel.
The B95 hyper Barchetta, making its debut in Asia, is the world’s first pure-electric hyper Barchetta. This coach-built creation combines flowing open-topped bodywork with exclusive technical details, aiming to offer a dramatic interpretation of a classic racer powered by pure-electric performance.
Paolo Dellachà, CEO of Automobili Pininfarina, said, “Our entry to the Japanese market is an exciting milestone for Automobili Pininfarina as we continue to expand our global footprint. Japan is renowned for its rich automotive culture and discerning clientele, who appreciate artistry, performance and innovation.
“We are confident this new audience will appreciate the Italian craftsmanship and engineering expertise that goes into making each and every Automobili Pininfarina vehicle a unique expression of its owner’s personality.”
