Zircotec Group has announced the appointment of Richard Carter as its new head of motorsport. Based in Abingdon in the UK, Zircotec is a developer and manufacturer of high-performance thermal management product solutions for teams and championships across the motorsport industry.
Zircotec’s technology is used by 90% of the teams on the Formula 1 grid, in Formula E, the FIA World Endurance Championship, IndyCar and the FIA World Rally Championship. Carter will support the company’s activities and customers in the motorsport domain. He joins Zircotec from PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, where he was technical sales manager (motorsport) for Europe.
Richard has worked in the motorsport and niche automotive sectors his entire career. His experience includes operational roles at Red Bull Racing and Mercedes-AMG in F1, and the direct management of processes and build for the Aston Martin Valkyrie and McLaren Solus GT hypercars.
