High performance motorsport engineering company KW Motorsport (KWM) has expanded its scope to offer on-demand motorsport consultancy through new division KW Racing. The newly-launched division offers data analysis and trackside team and race management alongside a host of testing and simulation services.
With more than 15 years’ experience in the motorsport arena, KWM has offered support to teams competing at the very highest levels of motorsport, providing cutting-edge solutions in areas such as chassis design, lightweight structures and powertrain integration.
KW Racing will be led by Will Phillips, who has held the position of vice president of technology in the world-renowned IndyCar series for the past seven years. With more than two decades of engineering experience, Phillips returns to the company he helped found in 2002 with a deep understanding of technological innovation.
“I’m delighted to continue the relationship with the KWSP (KE Special Projects) family and help expand on the great work KWM has been doing over the past 15 years,” commented Phillips.
“I feel my experience and insight will complement the highly-skilled KWM team providing a comprehensive solution for race teams worldwide.”
