Alpine has released its A110 GT4+, an update to the A110 GT4 Evo launched in 2022, which secured the GT4 European Series crown in 2024.
In a GT4 class that is more competitive and challenging than ever, Alpine says that the new car is a significant evolution of the A110 GT4 Evo, the result of work based on lessons learned on racetracks since 2018 and in rallying, illustrated by the A110 Rallye GT+’s victory last year at the Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine.
Alpine states that the A110 GT4+ is designed for ease of handling and use, and offers extremely high performance potential, reduced operating costs and enhanced reliability. To achieve this, the model incorporates several new features, including supercharging and cooling systems derived from the Rallye GT+ version. The gearbox spacer has been redesigned, and the temperature management of the carbon-fiber airbox and larger front radiator have improved.
Among the other improvements, particular attention has been paid to the exhaust and the various anti-lag and traction control systems. Lastly, a new atmospheric pressure adaptation system via the P atmo sensor now makes it possible to adapt to variations in altitude without adding ballast.
On the outside, the A110 GT4+ has undergone subtle changes to optimize the aerodynamics, including an openwork carbon-fiber rear windshield and a more robust front splitter made of natural fibers to withstand heart-pounding battles on the track.
In its highest-performance guise, the A110 GT4+ has already proved its potential with a class win in the final round of the 2024 Ultimate Endurance GT Cup. Competing in a six-hour event at Circuit Paul Ricard, the driver line-up of Jim Pla, Julien Gilbert and Jean Mathieu Leandri demonstrated the improved performance and reliability of this new version.
A new, seven-year homologation makes the A110 GT4+ eligible for SRO Motorsports Group’s GT4 ecosystem and several Grand Touring series. The A110 GT4+ is available now for €220,000 (US$238,000) excluding VAT. A kit to upgrade existing Alpine A110 GT4s and Alpine A110 GT4 Evos is also available for €34,000 (US$36,800) excluding VAT.
