Having missed the opening WEC round in Spa earlier this month, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) says it is on course for the competition debut of its SCG 007 Le Mans Hypercar (LMH). According to the team, the car set to compete in the Portimao round later this month is complete, and its second chassis is nearing completion.
The main reason that the outfit missed the first round of the season was that it was unable to complete a 30-hour test of the car, which was one of the prerequisites for its competition debut. This test will now take place at the Aragon circuit later this week, using the second chassis, while the first (chassis 709) will be prepped for the Portimao race.
