Mazda has unveiled the RX-Vision GT3 Concept – a virtual race car jointly developed with Polyphony Digital. The Mazda Motorsports car will be eligible to race in the FIA-certified Gran Turismo Championship.
The GT3 racer is available as an in-game download for Gran Turismo Sport. Players who use Mazda vehicles on Gran Turismo Sport will automatically be given the right to enter the FIA-certified Gran Turismo Championship to be held in various locations during the 2020 season.
In the USA, the Ricmotech iRacing Global Mazda MX-5 Cup began on May 5, with races held each Tuesday until June 2.
Virtual races include MX-5 Cup drivers and guest drivers from Mazda’s IMSA WeatherTech Dpi program.
