Nissan has unveiled a newly designed Nissan Z GT500 race car that will participate in the Japanese domestic Super GT Series for the 2022 season. The move to enter Super GT with the latest Z car is apparently part of the wider company’s Next development strategy, which was implemented in May this year.
Nissan COO Ashwani Gupta commented, “The Nissan Z GT500 symbolizes Nissan’s spirit of taking on challenges and bringing excitement to life. Through our racing efforts we continue to innovate our cars and we race to win with the same daring we have displayed so many times over the years.”
