For 2025, Radical has updated the SR3 XXR and SR10 XXR with new features and options enabling customers to secure their 2025 season race car at 2024 pricing.
The key areas of the refinement are safety, reliability, performance and personalization. Both the SR3 XXR and SR10 XXR get a new seating option in the form of a carbon single seat, designed in-house by the Radical research and development team with inputs from customer feedback. The new seat features an integrated wrap-around headrest and is made of pre-impregnated carbon fiber, making it stronger and lighter than its GRP predecessor. The updated seat is available on left-hand drive, right-hand drive and center-hand drive configurations.
For customers who prefer the twin seat option, occupant safety has been improved by the addition of strategically placed Kevlar inserts, stronger seat mounts and bracketry. For all seating options, Radical also offers new and improved harnesses with four color choices.
Focusing on reliability and customer feedback, Radical Motorsport has redesigned the bellhousing on the SR10 XXR based on simulated stress tests, and it now has a reduced chance of cracking. Additionally, the updated carbon-fiber front splitter is manufactured using new techniques and aerospace-grade epoxy resin to result in better fitment and durability.
In terms of performance, Radical has managed to alter the radius of the SR10 XXR’S sidepods. By doing so, the company states it has shifted the aerodynamic balance toward the front axle, eliminating understeer and tire scrub at high speeds. Similarly, by updating the steering rack ratio from 1:43:1 to 1:71:1, effort required by the driver has also been reduced.
Owners of the 2025MY SR10 XXR also benefit from a new lightweight flywheel and clutch, providing quicker blip response and smoother downshifts.
With the update, Radical is offering new body colors and painted lightweight Braid wheels alongside different color harnesses. Additional customisation options include a custom livery which can be applied at the factory.
