Electric GT Holdings and SPV Racing unveiled the finished version of their Tesla Model S P100D touring car for the upcoming Electric Production Car Series (EPCS).
The ‘EPCS V2.3 Tesla P100DL’ completed a shakedown run at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain, before being officially unveiled to partners and media in the center of Barcelona.
In the inaugural season, all EPCS drivers in the series will compete in identical cars. Standard spec is 778bhp (585kW) and 995Nm of torque. This output gives the cars a 0-100km/h time of 2.1s and a top speed of 250km/h.
Mark Gemmell, CEO of Electric GT Holdings, also announced that the final round of the EPCS will take place at Vallelunga, Italy, on October 27-28, 2019, following nine other races in Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, the UK and Portugal.
