The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship has switched track layouts for the events at Brands Hatch.
The Grand Prix circuit will host rounds 4, 5 and 6 on August 8/9, and the finale on November 14/15 will now use the Indy layout.
This is the first time since 1996 that the Grand Prix circuit has been used in the summer for BTCC; operational changes will enable the finale timetable to accommodate the fewer daylight hours of November.
Series organizer TOCA has also removed the option tire following a team meeting.
The medium compound will be used at all events except at Thruxton where the hard compound will be used.
