Formula E has announced that CBMM Niobium will become the race title partner for Round 4 of the FIA Formula E Championship – the CBMM Niobium Mexico City E-Prix – as part of their continued association with the series.
“CBMM’s relationship with Formula E represents a great opportunity to build awareness of niobium and has proven to be a unique platform for developing partnerships to explore and progress the growing potential of sustainable mobility,” said Eduardo Ribeiro, CEO of CBMM.
Following an increased presence at a number of races last season, having acquired the naming rights for both Punta del Este and Rome, the niobium product supplier plans to branch out into new territories over the next three seasons.
Niobium technology has a variety of applications across the automotive sector, including batteries, drivetrains, chassis, wheels, and other components. The qualities of niobium make materials stronger and lighter, while increasing robustness and reliability.
