American auto racing organization Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) has made Roboze, a specialist in high-performance 3D printing technology, the team’s official high-performance polymer partner, starting with the IndyCar Series.
As part of this collaboration, CGR will integrate Roboze’s 3D printing technology and expertise in design and engineering into its operations at the Indianapolis race shop. This partnership also places CGR alongside other major motorsports teams using Roboze technology, including Visa Cash App RB in Formula 1, the Yamaha MotoGP team, Envision Racing in Formula E and Ducati Corse.
Roboze’s technology addresses common challenges in 3D printing, such as inaccuracies and unreliable production, by providing precise printing processes and heat-resistant materials.
Francesco Pantaleone, chief business officer at Roboze, said, “By integrating our advanced polymer solutions with CGR’s innovation, we aim to set new standards in performance and reliability. Together, we look forward to achieving unprecedented milestones in the NTT IndyCar Series and beyond.”
Chris Simmons, director of performance at CGR, commented, “We have been looking for a partner with the right combination of performance, capabilities, speed and size, and we are excited to have found that partner in Roboze.
“They provide a great range of super polymers and composites as well as innovative 3D printing technology. We are excited about the unmatched accuracy of Roboze patented beltless technology and material capabilities in a cost-effective package. We already have items we are looking forward to improving with Roboze’s additive manufacturing.”
