The M-Sport Poland Fiesta Rally3 Evo is set to make its debut at the upcoming 2023 FIA Junior WRC Championship Rally d’Italia Sardegna, with each Junior WRC crew taking delivery of the brand-new car for round three of the season.
An extensive update package has been delivered, with the Fiesta Rally3 now sporting a new front bumper with a larger aperture for enhanced cooling, and a new rear spoiler and dampers which have been optimized for use on the gravel stages.
The Sardinia rally is well known for its high ambient temperatures that can result in heat exhaustion, and for a lack of visibility due to dust being thrown up from the racing surface. The surface also changes as the race progresses with a soft sandy top layer covering a hard bedrock below, which makes for an unstable racing surface.
“I am very proud to see another step forward for Junior WRC and M-Sport Poland this weekend with the introduction of the Fiesta Rally3 Evo,” said Maciej Woda, FIA Junior WRC Championship manager.
“It’s a result of close to two years of continuous improvement and development by the talented team back at M-Sport Poland’s headquarters in Krakow. I think bringing the updated cars to the Junior WRC field mid-season underlines our commitment to ensuring the very best Rally3 cars are available to all Junior WRC competitors.”
