New Zealand-headquartered automotive parts company NAPA Auto Parts is to open the NAPA Know How Motorsport Academy, an online initiative seeking to provide tuition, tools and resources to grassroots competitors and team members looking to further their knowledge and improve at their chosen motorsport discipline.
Walkinshaw Andretti United Supercars driver Bryce Fullwood is to be a mentor on the site, where he will pass on valuable knowledge to members aged 13 and up, from all motorsport backgrounds and divisions.
“Motorsport can be a really tricky game to succeed in, and the aim of the academy is to help drivers and teams navigate their way through some of the hazards and get the most out of their careers,” commented Fullwood.
“For those who gain access to the portal, they’ll find information from me about race day preparation, goal setting and your support network. There’s also plenty more about sponsorship, media, plus health and nutrition, which all play an important role in creating a strong, long-lasting career in the sport. The academy is open to all drivers and teams that have the mentality and drive to make the most of their time in the sport.”
