Boosted and nitrous-assisted powertrains are increasing in popularity across a number of championships that have relaxed regulations. These big power engines undergo a lot of stress during operation, often far too much many engine components can withstand.
At Professional MotorSport World Expo 2017, Wiseco is showcasing its BoostLine Connecting Rods; a patent-pending 3-pocket design, specifically formulated for demanding turbocharged, supercharged and big nitrous applications that provides 60% more bending strength compared to common H-beam rods. Each rod is designed, finished and inspected in the USA and includes an inspection report from the company’s quality team. Furthermore, despite their heavy-duty applications and being machined from premium 4340 forged steel, the rods are relatively light without any compromise in strength.
