MCF Safety Belts is showcasing its new line of safety harnesses, which are approved according to FIA standard 8853-2016. According to MCF, the brand has re-approached its design in the engineering phase compared to the old standard. With the introduction of the new FIA buckle 2018 and with the use of new components throughout the unit’s design, the new harnesses is said to enhance both driver comfort and safety.
The Italian supplier has previously produced safety belts for Klippan, Momo and Fiat Group and is currently partnering with OEMs in the research, development and manufacture of restraint systems for cars and specialist vehicles.
