There is quite literally something exciting and new to see every day at PMW Expo. As well as the latest product launches and innovations from over 230 exhibitors, including familiar names such as BBS, Continental, Ricardo, ZF, Bosch, Danecca and Cosworth, there is also a free-to-attend three-day workshop program, offering expert advice on data analysis, aerodynamic optimization, vehicle setup, suspension design, and even how to drive the fastest VLN race lap ever recorded on the Nürburgring!
The workshops, which are split into German and English presentations taking place on separate stages, include a dedicated electrification and hybridization session (English only) on Thursday 8 November, exploring the design, development and challenges of building full electric and hybrid propulsion race cars. Leading speakers include Steven Blevins, project manager, high-performance transmission products, Ricardo, and Doug Campling, chief engineer (motorsport) Williams Advanced Engineering.
For those interested in conquering the infamous Nordschleife, there are special Nürburgring guide workshop sessions taking place on Wednesday 7 November (presented in English), and Thursday 8 November (presented in German). Guest speakers include Nico Verdonck, VLN race lap record holder for the Nürburgring, and Steve Buschman, team manager, PROsport Performance, Germany.
