Founded in 2014 by veteran racers Juan Carlos Leroux and Toto Lassally, Roux has quickly established itself within the driver head protection market. With over forty years of combined racing experience between Leroux and Lassally, the range of new helmets introduce a new range of features that help bridge the gaps left in the market.
At the 2017 Professional MotorSport World Expo, Roux was proud to announce the signing of its latest brand ambassador; Honda Yuasa factory-driver and three time British Touring Car Championship drivers champion, Matt Neal.
The deal will see Neal wear Roux’s range-topping R-1CF gloss carbon-fiber helmet. The Snell 2015 and FIA 8859 graded unit includes an integrated water drink tube with quick disconnect, complete radio gear with noise cancelling microphone and speaker pods, COOL-X integrated water cooling system, HANS anchors, and RELEASE emergency helmet removal system.
“You’ve got to always keep an eye on what products are coming on to the market,” explained Neal. “I first saw the Roux range toward the back end of 2016, and now the opportunities have aligned to try the product, I’m looking forward to racing and winning with it.”
