Czinger Vehicles has announced the appointment of George Biggs as chief commercial officer (CCO). With over 15 years of experience in the high-performance automotive sector, Biggs will oversee sales operations, marketing, communications, product strategy and customer engagement as Czinger progresses into its next phase of growth.
Previously, Biggs held the position of chief sales & marketing officer at McLaren Automotive, where he played a key role in the global market expansion and brand development of the British supercar manufacturer. Spending nearly 13 years at McLaren, Biggs held several key positions, including managing director for Asia-Pacific.
Biggs joins the Czinger team at an exciting time, with the 21C in production, customer deliveries underway and further models in development. In addition to his role with Czinger Vehicles, Biggs will also be responsible for marketing and communications for Divergent Technologies, Czinger’s parent company.
“George’s international expertise and reputation in the high-performance automotive sector make him an invaluable addition to our team,” said Lukas Czinger, founder, president and CEO of Czinger Vehicles and Divergent Technologies. “As we deliver the much anticipated 21C, expand our global footprint and introduce new models, George’s leadership will be vital in our mission to revolutionize the automotive industry.”
“I am thrilled to join Czinger Vehicles at this important moment in the company’s history,” added Biggs. “I am inspired by Czinger’s groundbreaking technology, approach to performance and the team behind the brand. The 21C has given the world a small preview of what harnessing the power of digital manufacturing can achieve, and I’m excited to be part of writing the next chapter.”
