The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One team has secured a multi-year deal with OMP to supply racewear.
The contract includes outfits for drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, as well as all reserve and test drivers. In addition, mechanics will receive fireproof suits and shoes.
The racewear from Racing Force Group brand OMP will include a ONE-SL suit, custom-made gloves, shoes and underwear to meet safety, performance and comfort requirements
This arrangement marks a transition from Alpinestars as the racewear supplier for the Silverstone-based team, the first change in suppliers since the creation of the old Force India team in 2008 by Vijay Mallya.
Andy Stevenson, sporting director of Aston Martin, commented, “The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team is delighted to begin a multi-year partnership with OMP.”
