LMP2 team Racing Team Nederland has announced that it will make the switch from its Dallara chassis to Oreca for the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship season. The Dutch outfit has formed an agreement with Oreca specialists TDS Racing and will use the 07 chassis.
Following the introduction of new regulations ahead of the 27 season, Oreca has gone on to dominate both the WEC and Le Mans 24 Hours, will just two full-time superseason entrants using a different chassis supplier.
Racing Team Nederland has signaled intentions to keep Frits Van Eerd, Giedo van der Garde and Nyck De Vries as its driver line-up for 2019/20.
As a tribute to the Minardi F1 team and in its last outing with a Dallara chassis, the team’s vehicle will be equipped with a yellow and black livery at Le Mans rather than its standard all-yellow.
