UK track day company Want2Race will move to a new facility near Leeds, close to the Blyton Park circuit.
Want2Race will operate out of the facility from July 1, with the new home on the LNT Group campus providing new services for track day enthusiasts and competition car owners.
The move was driven by demand for track day car storage, transportation services and servicing for marques including Caterham, Lotus, Porsche, BMW and Ginetta.
The LNT Group headquarters is in the heart of Ginetta’s world championship motorsport and automotive operations, and the nearby Blyton Park Circuit offers a 2.1km testing facility.
Customers will be offered a one-stop shop comprising FIA championship-standard workshops with engine and transmission facilities, fabrication and vehicle set-up under one roof.
While-you-wait race car servicing is supplemented with access to the on-site SIMTrack simulator at Garforth, offering training and witnessing WEC LMP1 and Akula supercar development.
Ben Hyland, W2R director, said, “Driven by the growth and success of our business, the move to our new HQ and Blyton Park is a win-win for our customers, giving them access to industry-leading vehicle preparation, more track time and access to the simulator used by world championship drivers while their car is being serviced.”
