Pirelli has developed four new tires for the iconic Porsche 911 – two new P Zero Corsa tires alongside a new P Zero Trofeo RS for the GT3 RS and P Zero Trofeo R for the GT3. These tires are designed to enhance the driving experience both on the road and on the track.
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
For the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Pirelli had to develop a tire that supported both road characteristics and the near-racing performance of the car, achieved through its advanced aerodynamics and lightweight design. These opposing demands are met in two new tires in 275/35R20 for the front and 335/30R21 for the rear.
The P Zero Trofeo RS is a semi-slick tire tailored for high performance on circuits. Pirelli says this tire offers a wide working range, fast warm-up capability for immediate grip, and durability under demanding conditions, thanks to a reinforced internal structure and optimized tread design. The P Zero Trofeo RS has also been recognized as the best street-legal semi-slick tire for track driving by German magazine Auto Bild Sportscars.
The P Zero Corsa is more road-oriented, and designed to provide reliable performance for everyday driving.
Porsche 911 GT3
For the Porsche 911 GT3, Pirelli has introduced the P Zero Trofeo R, which incorporates technologies from motorsport to deliver peak performance for Porsche. It serves as a basis for the P Zero Trofeo RS.
Both the P Zero Trofeo R and the P Zero Corsa for the 911 GT3 are available in 255/35R20 for the front and 315/30R21 for the rear.
