The JRM Group, a motorsport preparation and advanced engineering specialist, has appointed a new managing director, and restructured its management team to support its current growth strategy.
The Daventry, UK, based company was founded in 2008 and has enjoyed significant growth since. It now employs 60 members of staff and provides motorsport and engineering services to a number of manufacturer partners, including Nissan Motorsport International (Nismo) and Subaru Tecnica International (STI).
The company states that to meet the demands of continued growth, both in terms of turnover and headcount, that it has appointed Jason King (above) as its new managing director and created a new and experienced ‘business leadership team’.
Joining the six-strong business leadership team is Andy Blackwell who takes on the position of supply chain manager, while Ryan Wallace has become the company’s manufacturing manager.
King, who steps up from his position as operations manager, said: “I’m excited to be taking on the managing director’s role at JRM Group at what is a key time in the company’s development.
“The services that we can offer through our Advanced Engineering business unit have really captured the attention of niche and mainstream vehicle manufacturers that are seeking high-quality engineering support.
“By forming a business leadership team that can deliver the company’s promises on a daily basis, we are creating an opportunity to look at future projects and to grow the JRM business in an exciting and different way.”
