The Professional Motorsport World Expo race team got their race season off to the perfect start at Brands Hatch this weekend in the British GT4 Championship, with a dominant win in their Ginetta G55.
Drivers Graham Johnson, managing director of the company that organises Professional Motorsport World Expo in Cologne, Germany every November, and Mike Robinson, the director of conferences at the same company, qualified on the front row for the two-hour race, but took the lead on the second lap and then went unchallenged until the checkered flag.
Johnson enthused, ‘Mike and I knew we had the pace to fight at the front because we were the Championship runners-up last year, but to win with a 10-second cushion is deeply rewarding.
‘We gain a 20-second pit-lane penalty for our success in this weekend’s race next time out, but we’re still targeting a podium. It’s all about collecting as many points as we can as we march toward the title. We want to be the 2016 British GT4 Champions!’
The next round will take place at Rockingham on 1st May.
