Recaro is championing its involvement in the 2017 FIA European Truck Racing Championship following its partner ‘S.L. Trucksport 30’ victories at the opening round of the season. Recaro supplies the team with its Pro Racer SPG racing shell seats.

Recaro Automotive Seating is not only providing the two pro racing shells for the 1,000hp MAN truck, but also the team truck is equipped with two premium Recaro C 7000 commercial vehicle seats, thus offering driver and passenger the ‘best possible comfort en route to the competitions and on the way back home.’
Nine races are on the FIA European Truck Racing Championship schedule in 2017. The season was opened on the weekend of May 13-14 in Spielberg, Austria, where S.L. Trucksport 30 took fifth place in the overall rankings and second place in the team rankings. Sascha Lenz, who was voted Young Driver of the Year in 2016, is already looking forward to the next race weekend in Misano, Italy, May 27-28. “We are perfectly prepared and will put all we have into getting a spot on the podium!”
