TE Connectivity will be displaying its Deutsch Autosport Double Density (ASDD) connector family.
The lightweight connector offers a high pin count with almost double the number of contacts compared with the regular Autosport range equivalent shell size. It was designed from the outside to withstand harsh environments and features a conductive black zinc nickel, interfacial wire sealing, and a bonded and sealed insert preventing moisture ingress.
TE Connectivity’s Global Product Manager for Deutsch Autosport Connectors, Paul Webb said: “The motorsport industry is always looking for more compact packaging options and our new connector has been developed specifically for that purpose. By expanding our popular ASDD range and engineering 93 contacts of size 24 into the connector, our customers can optimise packaging options in their new designs.”
The 93-way ASDD interconnect racing in the 2017 season is available in all keyway options with PCB, inline, flanged, clinch-nut and flangeless variants as can be found in the rest of the company’s Autosport ranges.
