OBP Motorsport will be launching its Pro-Race V3 adjustable bias brake pedal box assembly at the 2015 Professional MotorSport World Expo. Described as a ‘work of art’, the lightweight system is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminium and machined from a full billet block, offering up incredible strength in comparison with traditional pedal boxes. OBP’S V3 has been tested with up to 700kg of force applied to the pedal, and offered zero flex.
OBP is also proud of the adjustability the pedals offer. The pedal pad is adjustable vertically and horizontally, to ensure an ergonomic fit, and the adjustable pedal ratio and accelerator throw allow for even more comfort. Long life is ensured through the hard anodised finish, and the option for a drive-by-wire (DBW) or cable accelerator ensures installation is possible in a wide variety of cars.
The V3 system is available with OBP’s spec master cylinder as standard, with the option to upgrade to an Alcon spec cylinder. OBP states that the V3 has all the ingredients to deliver faster lap times and assist in putting race cars on the top podium spot.
