At the recent FIA Americas Awards ceremony, held in Mexico City, OMDAI Vice President José Abed honored Stand 21 and its foundation, ‘Racing Goes Safer’ for their contribution to the safety of drivers in motor racing.
The award was presented in the presence of FIA president Jean Todt, Emerson Fittipaldi, the mayor of Mexico City Miguel Ángel Mancera, former Mexican President Felipe Calderon, over 250 FIA representatives from various countries in South, Central and North America and award-winning racing drivers.

As a motorsport safety source, the Stand 21 Safety Foundation, “Racing Goes Safer” is a non-profit organization with a primary purpose of promoting enhanced motorsports safety.
