Following on from an earlier video looking at aerodynamic tools in MotoGP, CFD specialist Wouter Remmerie of AirShaper takes a look at some of the main factors that teams consider in relation to aerodynamic performance.
Remmerie talks to Brian Gillen, technical director at MV Agusta, with the experienced engineer providing insight into areas such as the significance of drag reduction in a tightly regulated class like Moto2, the impact of drafting as well as less obvious areas such as the impact of cooling systems and heat rejection on rider comfort.
